Chicorée Case: Stationary trade pushed without eCommerce nor Productfeed!

Clever crawler replaces feed.


Feed Based Advertising is usually all about feeds. For example, online shop data or product feeds that are dynamically assembled into advertising banners by Converto's Feed Master Engine.


Chicorée shows its large assortment of fashion and accessoires on its website, but does not offer an online checkout. At the same time, the information structure is so stringent that we were able to read all relevant product information with the help of a crawler and reassemble it into banners.


In this campaign, Chicorée uses existing information on its website to activate a dynamic campaign without the need to produce advertising material.


The aim of the campaign was to support the traffic in the stationary trade of the Chicorée shops. In order to achieve this goal, the campaign was optimised for an icreased frequency, i.e. a higher dose of visual contacts, and for an optimal click-through rate in order to be as relevant as possible for potential consumers.


Based on the insights of the current campaign and in consultation with Chicorée, the strategy was adapted during the campaign and focused even more on increasing the CTR, i.e. traffic for the Chicorée website.


On top of that, a sales campaign was integrated for 4 days during the campaign. These communicative adjustments could be easily stored via the Converto customer frontend and returned to the original campaign after the campaign ended.
